Late to the party (Harry Potter book 7)
Okay. I've finally read it. Now I can stop dreading spoilers everywhere :-)

It was good. I liked it a lot. I was afraid that poor Neville wasn't going to get an appearance in it at all, but Rowling redeemed herself nicely on that one in the second half of the book :-)

I would love for there to be a small book about all the things that went on with Neville, Ginny, et al at Hogwarts while we followed Harry, Hermione & Ron.

Yeah. That'd be excellent. Sounds like Rowling is pretty much done with Potter, though.

I adore Neville.

I swear, if Neville hadn't gotten to kick some ass, I would've thrown the book across the room. (I was still jubilant when he did, though.)

Spoilers? What spoilers? I'm still three or four books behind!

I thought the Final Confrontation was a bit talky. But for some reason I rather liked the long conversation Harry had in what appeared to be King's Cross station.
