Yesterday, I found out from my doctor that I'm allowed to walk. I have a post-op boot (a big clunky frankenstein-y leg brace thing), but apparently I only need to use it when I'm walking long distances. I can't do jumping jacks, but I'm outta the wheelchair.
And yesterday, my state tax return and my EDD checks arrived, so I can suddenly stop worrying about money in the "how am I going to pay this bill on time with zero cash?" sense. That's a refreshing change.
