Is this a thing that can work?
You know what's awesome about having some time before I have to find a job? I can do foolish things and find out why they're foolish.

For instance: I have produced what's basically a sales page. But for why you want to hire me.

Is this a good idea? No clue. But I have some time to find out.

I'm doing it in parallel with a more traditional job search. But I'm being picky enough that I expect it'll have plenty of time to compete.

Neat. I hope it sparks some good conversation.

Likewise :-)

You seem a bit less overwhelmed now, so I'll mention that we're hiring and I really like it here. (I'm still in Seattle but there's a new office in Palo Alto.)

Looks like fun! The jobs page doesn't currently list anything in Palo Alto, though it may be out of date. Seems like a neat company, though.

Yeah, the jobs page doesn't reflect reality in a number of ways. :) But I checked with one of our recruiters, and we're looking for people in the Palo Alto office who are good/experienced enough to work well away from the main team. Sounds like you.

Sorry, I've been distracted. Should I see what our recruiters think of your sales page?

I've been distracted too... But I just got an offer that I'm planning to accept. So actually, probably not.

Thanks for the link! I apologize for not being better about following it up quickly :-/

No problem, and congrats!
