I'm trying to sell a Burning Man ticket since it turns out I'll now be otherwise occupied at the end of August.

I paid $225 plus around $12 in shipping, and I'm happy to let it go for $235. The current going price is $250 plus shipping, so you're getting a decent deal, which will get better as ticket prices rise (BM tickets start at something like $180 for a very limited number, and get more expensive over time).

Comment here or email me if you're interested.

12 bucks for shipping? sheesh.

I think that was for guarenteed, tracked delivery, which is a pretty good idea for a 200 dollar peice of paper.

isn't ebay a good medium for this?

Yeah. But I'll still try with friends and the local community first.

I've also still never sold anything on EBay, though I assume it's not too difficult.

...or try Craig's List. Check this out: I found advice on How to Buy or Sell a Burning Man Ticket.

Good luck!

So I'm curious what would take precedence over Burning Man for you, cause I know how much you enjoy it.

I've got an ex-girlfriend getting married, and given time and geography constraints I really can't do both.
